My name is Laura Carlin and I've been teaching at Wines since 1997. My family has been part of the Ann Arbor community for over forty years and I am a product of the Ann Arbor Public Schools. I attended Haisley, Forsythe and Pioneer. I attended Michigan State and Eastern Michigan Universities where I received a BS in Elementary Science Education and a minor in Early Childhood. I also received a Masters in Elementary Education from Marygrove College.. I have two children who are the joy of my world and keep me busy crafting costumes and going on adventures.

Mrs. Eikey
My name is Megan Eikey, and I have the honor of being your child's first grade teacher this year! I attended the University of Michigan where I received a degree in Elementary Education with majors in Mathematics and Language Arts. Born and raised in Michigan, I enjoy camping, relaxing in my hammock and exploring everything this beautiful state has to offer. When I'm not sleeping in the tent, I enjoy baking, traveling the world, and being with friends and family. I look forward to a wonderful school year!

Hi, there! My name is Maureen Lynch. In 2019, I earned my B.S. in Elementary Educatioin and Language Arts from Eastern Michigan University. I have been subbing at Wines since 2018, and have been a first grade teacher at Wines since 2020. I love the Wines community and am so excited that I get to be a part of it! I am a northeast Ohio native, but fell in love with Southeast Michgan and the Ann Arbor/Ypsi area during my undergraduate years, so I decided to stay! In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, listening to music, hanging with my dog, Skip, and drinking coffee. I also love road trips, puzzles, and roller skating. I am looking forward to an exciting, interesting, and fun school year!
