Ms. Melissa Carpenter

Melissa Overhiser Carpenter has been teaching for Ann Arbor Public Schools since 2000.  She is a graduate of the University of Toledo and Concordia University.  Mrs Carpenter specializes in elementary and middle school band pedagogy.  She is currently a clarinetist with the Dexter Community Band and the Ann Arbor Concert Band.  She loves rabbits and supports many rabbit rescues.  She is married, has two college-age stepsons and a cat named Fuzzy.  She splits her time between Ann Arbor, her home in Ohio and her camper in Indiana.
